About us

History of Velosoul
“Velosoul Bicycles” first opened for business late in the spring of 2009. The shop’s initial emphasis was on the purchase and sale of used bikes and bike parts. (We no longer sell used bicycles.) The shop was sold by its original owner in the summer of 2010. Operating as “Velosoul Cycles”, the new owners evolved the business into a full-service shop with a full stock of new and used bikes. In February of 2011, Velosoul became a Jamis dealer.

Velosoul Today
The next phase of Velosoul’s evolution began on December 1, 2011, when Zach Hepner acquired the shop and began operating as Velosoul Cyclery, a full service shop with a vastly expanded stock of new Jamis bicycles and a broad array of fine parts and accessories. Our product inventory has increased with each successive year, and, in 2015, we expanded our bicycle offerings to include not only Jamis Bikes, but also Soma Fabrications, Simcoe Bicycles, and Surly. And most recently in 2018, we became a Cannondale dealer! We are also able to order bikes from many other fine manufacturers upon request. While we are a small boutique shop, we’re confident that our newly expanded inventory will provide you with a number of great options to consider! In the event we don’t have exactly what you are looking for in stock, we’ll happily sit down with you and arrange to order it in for you from one of our vendors. We believe that our service department is one of the finest in the state! So, if your current bike needs a tune-up or other repairs, rest assured that you will be leaving it in the best of hands.

We love being on bicycle and teaching about bicycles! As the A-List Best Bike Shop we are excited to offer a wide variety of group rides and interactive workshops! Our rides and workshops are great opportunities to meet like-minded individuals from the Denver area. We see our shop as more than just a bike shop, but rather a special place that brings community together and strengthens spirit! Check out our Facebook or Instagram for opportunities to connect with us!

We are happy to help you with your bicycle needs during our business hours and we’re located at 3751 S. Broadway in Englewood, Colorado!
